SIGNUP FOR FALL RECREATIONAL SOCCER SEASON.  LATE REGISTRATION APPLICATIONS BEING ACCEPTED THROUGH SEPTEMBER 4 FOR ALL AGE GROUPS. 

U16 EAGLE GIRLS EDGE BRADEN RIVER

Forward Nathania Baptiste scored a goal and assisted on another and goal keeper Danielle Vinciguerra stopped several second half Braden River scoring chances allowing the U16 Eagle Girls to hold on for a 2-1 win on August 28 at Walter Fuller Park.  Ashley Force scored the team's first goal.  Both goals for the Eagles came in the second half after the Rage scored their lone goal in the opening minutes of the game. The U15 Eagle Girls forged a 1-1 tie versus Wesley Chapel earlier in the day also at Walter Fuller Park.   

SUMMER EDITION OF EAGLE COURIER

EAGLES RECOGNIZED IN ROWDIE'S PRE-GAME ACTIVITIES

The U12 and U16 Eagle girls teams and their coaches, Jeff Kirkwood and Bruce Esquinaldo, received a round of applause from Tampa Bay Rowdies fans before the game on June 12 at Steinbrenner field in Tampa.  Pictured at right is Jeff Kirkwood and the U12 girls.
COMPETITIVE TEAM OPENINGS

Tryouts for AYSL's Competitive (a.k.a., Club) Program concluded in June, but openings remain in some age groups.  Those still interested in trying out can contact the league's Club Coordinator for information.   See the Club Program page  for information about competitive soccer. 

AYSL JOINS PARTNERSHIP WITH TAMPA BAY ROWDIES

Professional soccer is back in Tampa Bay and AYSL is making it easy for its players and families to be part of the action.  As a member of the Rowdies Supporters Group Partnership Program, AYSL will be sponsoring Rowdies player clinics and appearances at the Walter Fuller fields during the 2010/11 season and AYSL players will be able to participate in Rowdies game day and on field pre-game activities.  AYSL families can also purchase discounted game tickets and, for every ticket sold, the Rowdies will return $2 to the league.  Contact Ryan Helfrick at (888) 75-ROWDIES or rhelfrick@tbrowdies.com for ticket orders.
